Emerging Senior Discussions

Whether we are 50 or 80 we are emerging in force! We have lifestyle options and responsibilities that our parents never dreamed of. It will be up to us to determine how our lives will look as we age. Medical breakthroughs will give us options that we must plan for if we want to enjoy the life that we choose. Too many of us will live denying the reality that is coming towards us, and will be forced to live a life not of our own choosing.

However, if we choose wisely now, and plan sagely, we can create choices that we will fit our goals and intentions. This is not just about finances and leisure activities. We probably have those plans in place, for better or worse. This is about where we may live, what we value, and about putting those ideas in writing so that we can set goals, find Plan A and Plan B, and then determine the steps to get there. Most of us have not realistically and specifically addressed these issues. If we don’t, many decisions may be made for us. We are all too independent to be content with that.
